You can clean blinds by vacuuming them or wiping them down with soapy water and a damp cloth. Curtains are too delicate to be cleaned in this way, they have to be washed properly on a delicate setting in a washing machine.

Many times, blinds are more visible in the home than curtains. Curtains may provide a nice accent to your windows, depending on their style and design. Blinds are typically much less expensive than curtains.
